It is a nicely done picture.
But I would have liked it better myself if the candle was colored perhaps?
Or maybe if the flame was flickering?
Unfortunately, a lot of kids at my school have done shots like these for art class.
Though, yours truly looks better.
Maybe a different angle would give it a more DRAMATIC flare.
Add mystery to it.
Colors could represent things if you had added them.
Pink- romance
green-envy
purple-sickness
etc.

But this just makes me think you put wax on your hand and stuck a candle on top then took a picture.

but remember.
